Data we collect
- Registration and account data: name, email, university, and team information.
- Competition data: submissions, results, feedback, and competition communications.
- Uploaded documents: CVs or other documents provided by participants.
- Payment metadata: payment status and transaction metadata are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card details.
- Technical data: IP address, server logs, and device/browser information.
Why we process data
- To operate registration and participation in the competition.
- To communicate competition updates and provide support.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To maintain security and improve the service.
Sharing
We only share data with necessary service providers (hosting, email, payments, databases) and only as needed to run the competition.
If sponsor or recruiter access is offered later, it will be clearly described and will require explicit participant opt-in where needed.
Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the competition and to meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent where applicable. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
